During my tenure at Nielsen I’ve worked the most with Sid, and it’s hard to specify any one incident that’ll summarise my experience working under you, Sir. Actually I’ll be wrong if I say I ‘worked under Sid’ rather it was always working ‘with’ Sid. The kind of efforts you’ve always taken in supporting your team is hard to match. Had read this somewhere : ‘treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them to become what they are capable of being. ’ Sir, you’ve treated me as though I were capable of reaching the stars, and whatever little I could achieve @ Nielsen a lot of credit goes to you. I’ve learnt immensely from you, not only work but also tried to imbibe attributes of being a good manager, teacher, a brilliant listener, how to keep calm and think structured even in most difficult times and above all being a good human-being  . Your quest for knowledge has always amazed me and I still regret that I couldn’t take you to the National Library here in Kolkata … hope someday I get the opportunity to …  I don’t know how many times I would have heard this here in Kolkata office, ‘Modhurima, you are really lucky to have such brilliant Bosses like Sid, Shrikant…’ and every time someone would tell me this I’d just smile and say - ‘I totally agree… ’  So, Thank you Sir! for being the perfect Boss and hope that I get an opportunity to work with you someday somewhere again in future …. Wish you all the luck, good health and success!
