So Placid and So generous.. such is the personality of a person who has given so much to all of us in terms of his goodness and charm! Sid Sir…as you part ways with us from here, always telling us to remove the ‘Sir’ column from his name , made me wonder how very down to earth and grounded a person can be who is blessed with talents unlimited! He is one such soul who is hard to find in this very era of imagination that we stay in.. A perfect blend of all generations, making his way into everything, always motivating us to perform better than before..words fall short as I sit down to write about this great man that we have known in Nielsen. As I go down this memory lane, where I first got to know him and interacted with him some 3 years back in Baroda where we first met during our induction program and he left me awestruck with his easy way of dealing with people and how simply he conducted himself with everyone. Such poise and grace is consumed within him that it made me wonder how he manages to be such a great human being! And then time passed and I engaged with him on many projects and one fine day I also got to know of his multi talents on the grounds of creativity of books and a host of other things that he is made of.. I am so glad that I have worked (even though for a short while) with Sid sir and it feels great to have been associated with him. Wish you all the luck and goodness in the times to come Sir because you deserve the best of the best! Will miss you here. Take Good care. And we shall surely keep in touch..
